The name comes from the fact that at the vineyard they are using Mule instead of horse. The slopes are very steep and Mule are more able to go on those slopes.
It is mad with 100% Marsanne. To keep that lovely freshness, they are picking the grapes before the residual sugar will be to high. Harvest will happen earlier than other vineyards. This is the Flag ship of Jaboulet a mid price range to show to consumer that not only very expsiive wines are the flagship of the Winery. It has no oak contact, it spends time in concrete X Vat stain/ with natural batonnage, which will bring a bit of roundness and creaminess.
The nose is full of fruit, yellow plum, mirabelle a bit of yellow apple. The palate is elegant with a lively acidity on the finish, with nice stone fruit flavour.

Condrieu Domaine des Grands Amandirers 2010
The name comes from the fact that the vineyard is surrounded of Almond tree.. As you can every wine has its own story!!!
100% Viognier. It is very particular grape, full of flavour. The nose has apricot, apple, almond note. The palate is crisp with a round finish. Beautiful complexity!.
100% Syrah, Croze Hermitage is the biggest producing area of Rhone Valley. 2007 was a nice vintage but nothing fantastic, the wine has eight years, and it can still lay-down for ageing.
The nose has matured black berries, spices such has white pepper(very subtle) it has already started to have secondary note such as tobacco, anise. The palate is very pleasant, the tannin are present but slowly melt in your mouth, to give you those black fruit aroma and tobacco note to finish.
Cornas "Grandes Terrasses" 2009
Cornas is for me the strongest in the Northern Rhone Valley, still made with 100% Syrah, the wine has more body than the other. It s already six years but can still lay-down for more than 5 to 10 years. The noise is mineral, earthy and with black fruit.. The palate has a very good attack the tannin are very pleasant and mouth full. The aromas are black Berries, black currant, spiced and with a hint of oak on the finish. The mouth is good and long on the finish.
Hermitage "La Chapelle" 2001
Hermitage is the smallest area in Northern Rhone Valley. It is situated on the hill. The name "La Chapelle" comes from the Chapel on the top of the hill of Hermitage. 2001 is a good vintage but a vintage that is ready to drink and enjoy fully now.
The grapes are harvested from different plot of Hermitage, fermented separately for one year. The it is blended very carefully
The nose is very delicate and elegant, note of flower such as Violette, spices and black fruit but with a beautiful oxidation note...The palate is round and full with very delicate tannin the acidity is disappearing in the contact of your tongue, with lovely note of black and red berries such as strawberry. tobacco and liquorice.
